You can't forget the fatted calf! Notice he said "bring the fattened calf and kill it" It implies in front of him, He wanted to make sure he new the sacrifice had been killed, blood had been shed. Where sin does abound, Grace Super abounds!

Caroline Kitley said… - Hallo Sharon, As far as us having Gods DNA, I can share the following scriptures with you. 1 John 4 v 17 'As He is, so are we in this world." + 1 Cor 6 v 17 "But he that is joined (united) unto the Lord is one spirit with Him." John 3 v 6 9 Our natural birth is our flesh birth, but when we receive Jesus Christ our "new birth" kicks in! We are then born of His Spirit, His Righteous Nature is then ours. We cannot become "more" righteous, we are righteous because of our new birth. Proof of that is also in Rom 8 v 9 + 10 Amplified Bible describes it more clearly. ..."the Spirit is alive because of (the) righteousness (that He imputes to you.) For He hath "MADE" Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that WE might be "MADE" the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. 2 Cor 5 v 21 God translated us into the kingdom of His Son. Col 1 v 13 We express His Divine Nature (It stands to reason that we cannot express that which we do not have!!) Col 2 v 9 = 10 One died for all therefore all died. (He died to give us His Nature...The price was paid in full for all mankind, they have to just accept it. I personally believe that we do not have a "flesh" nature, how can we? If we did we would be Schizophrenic! We have a "soul" a mind that needs to receive Gods Word, be renewed, in order to be made whole. People tend to live in the soulish realm, when they do not renew their minds to the truth of Gods Word. Paul said with good reason, "you are NOT in the 'Flesh"! James 1 v 21 + Rom 8 v 9 We are New Creations, the old Has passed away.. 2 Cor 5 v 17 - 21 Someone so accurately said, The word says "be holy", not 'become holy", we are holy, we just need to realise it and walk in it! God did a perfect work in Christ, and we must keep our focus there. Francios always quotes Is, 51 v 1 "Look to the Rock from which you were hewn." Sharon, you can look on page 33 from his book, God believes in you. You can also go onto his site and chat to him. Francios will gladly answer any questions that you may have.
