My heart beating and my chest heaving from the run, my eyes shone while I took of my boots. I stood on the top of the hill while warm sand nursed my tired soles. I could see distant horizons and my imagination carried me to the excitement they held. I could shout and I was sure the stars would hear me. How different the wide open space and love of all that surrounded me, reflecting the greatness inside. Standing there I became conscious of our origin from a greater thought – I felt the urge for…

So many believers seem to be weary now a days, they seem to know no rest. You see it in their eyes and on their faces, a wearing down, lines etched deep from the storms. But why is this? Jesus says that we who are weary and heavy burdened will find rest in him. But few seem to find that rest. Jesus was focusing his words to the religious of the day, they were bond and driven by their works... works to become righteous... works to stay righteous. Many believers today are weary and tired from thei…

[It is a constant wonder how we guardians of the true faith can become so adept at gumming up the greatest news in the universe. We hold in trust the Good News of all good news—God gives free grace to sinners for Christ’s sake—and then we break our necks to hide it behind a great wall of rules, regulations and laws.]
“You must not take grace too far or you will turn it into license to sin!” we admonish one another, as though lack of license has ever stopped anybody from sinning…

The Glory River
Peace is like a mighty river flowing down from the thrown.
As it rushes over us it demolishes strongholds, pushing down walls.
It unearths the secrets of Gods heart deposited in us and unveils the foundations of the temple, which we are.
It comes with a loud crashing of the heavens, letting earth know its Master.
It shows no favourites, it holds back for no man.
It thunders, it rolls from the heavens and embodied in it is all the gifts of the heaven.
It wipes away the shallow pl…

I have been reminded by the Lord over and over again about a dream I had many years ago. Now I know that the Lord has so many ways in which He impresses His Words of Life upon our hearts, but for me it has always been in pictures, visions and dreams. I believe my sharing this dream with all of you will resonate a chord in your heart about how we can dwell in total trust and safety with Jesus by our side. In the dream Jesus and I were walking side by side, holding hands and just enjoying each oth…

If anyone loves Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. John 14.23
Lord Jesus, thank You that You want to make Your home with me - help me to make enough time for You in my busy program. Amen

I really enjoyed reading this commentary from John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible:
Son 1:2 "Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth; for Your love is better than wine."
for thy love [is] better than wine; or "loves" (p); which may denote the abundance of it; the many blessings of grace which flow from it; and the various ways in which it is expressed; as well as the high esteem the church had of it. This is said to be "better than wine"; for the antiquity of it, it being from everl…

Some seem to think that grace means you must accecpt every wind of doctrine and every new or old teaching that comes along. Is that Grace?
I believe that we are free to have our own beliefs! You may not believe what i believe, thats fine I could be wrong! Please dont believe what i believe, please test everything with the word. Draw your own conclusions.
We are not called to mindlessly believe everything that comes our way.
What we are called to do is love eachother, even when we are differan…

The Gift Of No Condemnation
John 8:11… “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
When Jesus was on earth, a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought before Him by the scribes and Pharisees, the religious mafia of His day. They tried to trap Him by posing a question that was difficult to answer:
“Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” (John 8:5)
Jesus answered,
“He who is without sin among you, let him throw a…

You Are Perfect In God’s Eyes:
Hebrews 10:12, 14,
12But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God...
14For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.
God sees you with no flaw, spot or imperfection, so honor His Word and the finished work of His Son by saying, “Amen!” Don’t doubt your perfection in Christ.
To see yourself as being far from perfect is not modesty, but a failure to understand th…

The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put it into practice, and the God of peace will be with you. Phil. 4.7,9.
What a wonderful thought that we do not have to look at circumstances around us, knowing that He will not help us out of it, but through it, as He did with Daniel in the lion's den and the fiery furnace. Hallelujah, I do not have to fear tomorr…

The Prince And The Bum:
I want you to think of a poor, homeless, bum, someone who is digging in the trash for his meals and for other earthly riches to sustain life… Now I want you to think about a prince…
A prince who is heir to a kingdom… Consider now that a bum does not believe he can ever become a prince, nor does a prince believe or desire to ever be a bum. For a prince is the son of a king. He lives in a palace, he has kingdom opportunities and responsibilities with his life for he…

For this [is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. (Isa 54:9)kjv
For this is like the days of Noah to me: for as I took an oath that the waters of Noah would never again go over the earth, so have I taken an oath that I will not again be angry with you, or say bitter words to you. (Isa 54:9)bbe
I once promised Noah that I would never again destroy the…

Lord, let me never forget the excitement and joy of that moment when I first realised You loved me ...... Every day, let my life reflect the light of knowing You.
Lord, let me not forget that it is not about me or my feelings, but it is all about You, pleasing and worshipping You, and with that I know that I am in the Potter's Hand, and that You are in total control of my life.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests…
