Grace Revolution

Col 1v6..since the day you heard it and understood God's Grace in all its Truth.

I have been reminded by the Lord over and over again about a dream I had many years ago. Now I know that the Lord has so many ways in which He impresses His Words of Life upon our hearts, but for me it has always been in pictures, visions and dreams. I believe my sharing this dream with all of you will resonate a chord in your heart about how we can dwell in total trust and safety with Jesus by our side. In the dream Jesus and I were walking side by side, holding hands and just enjoying each others company. I noticed we were walking up this mountain pass and the higher we climbed, the narrower the road got. I did not have any fear however as I knew I was totally safe with Jesus alongside me. We then came to a place on the road where not only was it very narrow, but it was very steep as well. I found myself wondering how much steeper this path was going to get, when I happened to look over the edge of the cliff and realized that there was a very long drop down and suddenly I heard thunder and lightning in the distance and started feeling the first drops of rain begin to fall. It was then that Jesus took me by the hand and told me that we were going to have to make a run for it. Even although I kept on slipping and noticing that the cliff was getting even steeper, I knew that Jesus had a plan and I could trust Him for the way of escape. Just when I was beginning to tire, I suddenly found myself on a ledge with a cave to my left and a huge overhang above us. Jesus then invited me into the cave, where I found to my delight that a feast had been prepared for us to enjoy. Jesus and I had such a sweet time of fellowship there as we enjoyed this scrumptious meal. As the meal was coming to an end, I noticed that the storm had stopped and Jesus told me that it was time for us to continue on our journey. But as we came out of the cave and I looked at the road we were supposed to follow, a huge boulder was right in the middle of the path. It was at this point that I started to panic. But as I looked into Jesus' eyes, a calm came over me and in a mere whisper I heard Him say to me, "Will you trust me, Princess?" At that moment I knew that even though what was to follow would not be easy for me in my strength, this situation did not take Jesus by surprise and He already had an escape planned for us. I then knew that everything would be just fine. I saw Jesus dig into his rug-sack and bring out a harness and rope which I knew was for absailing. To my surprise I found myself asking the Lord what the harness represented. He then told me that it represented His exceedingly great and precious promises to us that are there to guide us and keep us and protect us. Jesus then strapped both of us together into the harness and the next moment we were swinging clear of the boulder and coming to land on the other side at the bottom of the mountain, where in front of me were fields and fields of sunflowers. As Jesus and I once again looked into each others eyes, we knew we were thinking the same thing and simply started running through the fields laughing and happy. I don't believe I need to say anymore, other than just let the Lord use this to minister to you in His own unique and beautiful way.

Amen Barbara my sweet friend. The Lord has needed to remind me a lot lately of the fact that He holds us and keeps us and protects us, and never lets us go for one minute. And that truly His grace is sufficient for us in any situation we may face. I love Jesus soooooooo much. He is the bestest Big Brother anyone could possibly have. Have a blessed day my friend.
